Together with Samsung, we have launched a Digital Signage demo area at Samsung’s European Head Quarters in Chertsey, UK where digital signage content from embedsignage.com is being delivered directly to Samsung SSP SOC D Series displays.
This digital signage demo area is to showcase Samsung’s increasingly powerful Smart Signage Platform, which is directly integrated, via a System on Chip (SOC), to their D series commercial grade displays. The SSP displays are displaying content that is delivered using cloud based digital signage platform; embedsignage.com. The displays download the content via built in WiFi and store it locally for continued playback, even with network interruptions.
On show at the demo area is a pre-released 10.1″ all in one display, perfect for shelf edge retail signage, a 55″ landscape all in one display and two 32″ all in one displays (one in portrait and one in landscape). All of the Samsung SOC D series screens can have their content changed using the Samsung Android Tablet that is loaded with an interactive touch layout with various industry sector designs. Every piece of content and interaction between the Tablet and displays is done through the feature rich, cloud based digital signage software; embedsignage.com. We attended RBTE for the first time this year, invited by Samsung and ONELAN to exhibit with them. It was a fantastic exhibition to be part of, not only for showcasing our products and services but for experiencing the latest technology trends in the retail marketplace. During the exhibition we met lots of businesses interested in pushing new technology into their stores and we were humbled by the praise our content and embed signage solution received from those businesses, as well as our peers.

Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE), held at Earls Court, London on 12th & 13th March, is a must visit event for European retail, e-tail, hospitality and leisure operators. 2012 saw over 6,000 visitors at the exhibition and 2013 is expected to exceed this figure.
On the ONELAN exhibition stand, 681, we will be showcasing our digital menu board solution; embed signage, powered by ONELAN digital media players and DCE software. The menu board set up will include three screen QSR style menu board plus a touch screen menu board with table reservation functionality. All of this content can be updated instantly using Excel.
Then on the Samsung’s stand, 844, we will be demonstrating our interactive touch screen content that provides visitors with a way to discover the products and solutions available on the Samsung stand.
