Digital signage reduces perceived waiting time by 33%. It also seems to have time-bending properties in general. I find it hard to believe i’ve been working with Eclipse for over 4 months now. Always learning and developing not only in marketing but in multiple disciplines.

Since my last post I have been busy!

Exhibiting at both the restaurant show and the takeaway expo promoting digital signage solutions for restaurants & fast casual diners. A completely new experience for myself that at first seemed slightly ominous but in turn helped me to develop my client-facing skills (and stand break down skills).

I’ve walked 16km or nearly 20k steps according to my Apple Watch, in one day, visiting numerous locations where Eclipse Digital have installed digital signage. Then putting my creative photography skills to the test for use in case studies and general promotion – more of this to follow but here’s a sneak peak for now:

Learning Google Adwords in more detail, working out Click through rates, Cost per Acquisition, Cost per clicks and the figures needed to make a ROI. All of this whilst researching and developing a campaign.

Analysing and seeing that my digital marketing activities are having an actual impact in terms of being shared to tens of thousands of people is truly satisfying. Helping to build a brand is exciting!

I expect that this will be my last post of 2015 but I’m sure I’ll be back in the new year writing regular updates throughout my work placement. Stay tuned and follow us on Twitter @EclipseDigiUK to keep on track with all my updates.

Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.
