PayPoint is an international leader in payment technologies, its solutions transforming payments for everyone from consumer and financial services companies to retailers, utilities, media, e-commerce, gaming and government clients.
PayPoint delivers payments and services by taking the complexity of multi-channel payments and translating it into convenient, simple, value-added solutions. It handles over £14 billion from 760 million transactions annually for more than 6,000 clients and merchants.
As part of PayPoint’s commercial strategy, it exhibits at carefully selected exhibitions to raise awareness of the brand, the products and services it offers, meet with existing retail partners and gain new ones. In March 2014, PayPoint wanted to make a big impact at the National Convenience Show by launching its most impressive exhibition stand ever.
Eclipse Digital Media provided a 40” LED display, 10” Tablet, 21” Tablet and 46” Freestanding totem to deliver PayPoint’s exhibition content.
All the displays were connected to cloud based digital signage software, embed signage. Using embed signage, Eclipse Digital created digital signage layouts cycling through the various marketing material PayPoint required and scheduled the content to run specific items on specific days, depending on the event’s itinerary for that day.
There was no access to an internet connection at the exhibition; therefore, all content had to be run offline. To achieve this, the Digital Signage layouts were preconfigured and prescheduled to the displays. Once the content was configured, the devices would seamlessly play back the content and schedules from local storage.

It is an award award winning venue, gaining recognition for their work in the Stadium Business Awards 2014.

They saw digital signage as the best way to achieve this and wanted a system that was cloud based, full of features for content design and scheduling and they also wanted it to be extremely user friendly.
Allianz Park specified that the displays would need to be branded to fit with the brand guidelines of the business and ideally be freestanding.

Costain (international engineering and construction group) were awarded an eight year contract by the National Grid to carry out tunnelling under London for improved cabling. This tunnelling contract, worth approximately £200 million, will help meet increased energy flows across the city of London and it will also support increasing electricity demand, including the new Crossrail and the replacement of existing buried cables in London.
Costain wanted to show to staff within the National Grid project office how the project was progressing in real time and also be able to display project information in the Nation Grid Energy Education Centre. They approached Eclipse Digital Media with the idea and tasked us with implementing a real time solution that meets their needs.
We designed and developed a digital signage content package that would show the drilling rigs working their way under London, in real time using data.
The content package pulls in live data from the TIM (Tunnel Information Management) software which uses Google Maps to display it.
The real time data is displayed via AV displays within two National Grid / Costain project offices in London and one AV display mounted within the Energy Education Centre.
The digital signage network runs using a main publisher unit with two subscribers mounted behind each screen to display the live drilling information.

SOUTH DOWNS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
The South Downs National Park combines a biodiverse landscape with bustling towns and villages covering an area of over 1,600km2 and is home to more than 110,400 people.
The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) is the organisation responsible for promoting the purposes of the National Park and the interests of the people who live and work within it.
South Downs National Park Authority were opening a new Exhibition at their main visitor centre based in Midhurst, UK. The purpose of the exhibition is to be the focal starting point for visitors wanting to explore the National Park. It introduces visitors to the South Downs’ landscapes, geology, produce and heritage.
South Downs wanted this exhibition to be interactive and have the ability to change content for visitors on a regular basis. They wanted to use touch tablets for users to explore what the South Downs had to offer and also needed a solution, for one of their exhibition rooms, that would only play content when someone entered the room.
Eclipse Digital Media provided a comprehensive digital signage solution to deliver the requirements set out by South Downs National Park for their exhibition. Using a combination of the cloud based digital signage platform embedsignage.com and ONELAN digital signage hardware, it was possible to create, manage and distribute content to both the Tablets and the large screen built into the exhibition stands.
Eclipse Digital supplied three 10.1″ capacitive Android touch tablets to run interactive content to enable users to explore various information about the South Downs. Also provided were two large commercial grade Samsung displays, that were built into two of the stands by exhibition designers Fitzpatrick Woolmer. The 32″ commercial display uses a ONELAN NTB to store the content and playback; which is also updated from the cloud digital signage software; embed signage.
The second screen is a 40″ commercial Samsung screen which uses a standalone ONELAN NTB with a PIR motion sensor connected by RS232. The content on this screen is only triggered to play when the motion sensor is activated.

High-Bright SSSP Displays
High Bright Android Screens
Based on the brief and location of the new store, Eclipse Digital supplied and installed 2 x Samsung OM55D-W high bright Smart Signage Platform windows displays along with 6 x 15″ high bright screens with Android digital signage media players and 8 x embed signage digital signage software licenses.
Along with the supply and installation of the solution, Eclipse Digital also helped develop the screen content which is managed and maintained by store staff via an Excel Spreadsheet.
