Madhu’s is one of the UK’s most prestigious restaurant brands with a passion for gourmet supremacy driving the restaurant to excellence. In addition to winning coveted awards and accolades such as the Cobra Good Curry Guides Best Restaurant award 2004, Madhu’s owner, Sanjay Anand was honoured to win Industry Personality 2004 at the BIBA’s and an MBE in 2007 for his services to the hospitality industry. Sanjay Anand MBE has also been appointed Brand Ambassador for Jaguar.
Madhu’s were looking for a digital menu board solution to compliment their brand image in their restaurants. They wanted the displays to be simple to use and required scheduling functionality to change content for various times of the day. In Southall they required a front of house facing display on it’s own floor stand and in the Sheraton Skyline Hotel Heathrow, they required a totem that could sit in the walkway outside of the restaurant. They wanted the displays to be unbranded and provide a clean, elegant addition to their restaurants.
After providing various options on types of digital menu board solutions and displays, Eclipse Digital Media provided a combination of 42″ totem and 42″ mounted on a floor stand to Madhu’s form the embed USB digital menu board range.
These displays are updated locally using a USB key and provide the ability to set basic schedules to change their menu board content throughout the day.

Solus is the UK’s leading supplier of Garden, Leisure and Home Décor products that has been in business for over 30 years. With several large offices in the UK, Solus are the main supplier of key brands to many garden and leisure retailers across the UK and overseas.
Solus required a Digital Signage system at their corporate head office to communicate more efficiently with staff about sales figures and general corporate information. They also required the ability to stream live news onto the screens as well as display in the latest industry news to keep the staff informed of events that could influence their business.
Eclipse Digital installed a ONELAN publisher that included a TV card. This publisher supplies content to a ceiling mounted 60″ screen in their corporate head office.
The digital signage content pulls in live RSS feed information from a leading gardening industry website, live BBC News and local weather information to keep the staff updated about influences that could have an effect on their business.
There is another zone that is specifically for corporate information and in the main zone, live sales data is displayed in graphical format to show the staff how they are performing in real time.

Trinity is a primary school based in Radstock, Somerset. It has an inclusive policy, upholding a Christian ethos and welcoming children of all faiths and denominations and those with none, equally. The Academy of Trinity is an award winning school, achieving ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted status in 2009 and it’s headteacher, Mrs Hart, won The Pride of Britain Awards Headteacher of the Year Award in 2008.
The Academy of Trinity wanted a strong way of communicating to both students and their parents, the weekly events, achievements and photos of the school. Trinity wanted to communicate these messages in key areas of the school including the main reception area and an outdoor area where parents would pick up their children from. Trinity specified that they did not want to have to update each screen individually and needed a system that would be quick, easy and cost-efficient to update.
Eclipse Digital implemented a digital signage network that included one publisher box and two subscribers. One subscriber supplies content to a 42″ interior screen mounted in the main reception area of the school.
The second subscriber unit supplies content to be displayed on a weather proof, exterior 55″ Aqualite screen in the parents waiting area outside the school.

All content on the digital signage layout is customisable by the school and updated each week with the up coming events, photos from previous school events and important messages from the school.

STRETHAM AND CLAPHAM HIGH SCHOOL
Streatham & Clapham High School is an independent, academically selective school for girls aged 3–18, offering an inspiring, enlightened and intellectually challenging education in a lively, vibrant and warmly supportive environment. The School is in the top 25% of independent schools in terms of its 2012 A Level results.
Stretham and Clapham High School were looking at enhancing the new sixth form common room for the start of the 2012/13 academic year. Their core objectives were to communicate key messages from the school to the students at the same time as giving them the ability to watch TV channels and provide them with national news stories.
Eclipse Digital Media implemented a streamlined, cost efficient digital signage solution that included one publisher NTB with a TV capture, four screens and a VGA splitter unit.
By connecting the freeview TV box the school already had installed to the Publisher, the NTB was configured to display the freeview channels within a main zone of the digital signage layout. We added a BBC News RSS feed to the bottom part of the layout and on the right side, provided zones for the school to update with relevant information.

Once the screens were installed in the common room, an output cable was taken from the NTB to the VGA splitter and then the signal was split to the four screens, showing the same layout information on the screens.
